1) HOURS OF OPERATION:
Vendor set up Hours: Wednesday by arrangement and Thursday from 8 am to 10 am
Market Hours: (Current Market Hours - Subject to Change During Summer and Holidays) Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 4pm
2) Permanent spaces are rented on a monthly basis and considered permanent when rented for more than 3 months in a consecutive row. Vendors renting a rotating space for more than 2 weeks in a row can opt to switch to a permanent space or monthly one.
3) RENTAL RATES: Please see current rates on our website. Rates are discounted through the winter and slower months, but typically range from $160 a month in the winter for a single "hut" space (aprox 9X9 to 10X10 size) and will increase monthly until a max price of $250 during the busy summer months. A double booth "hut" space will be $320 in the slow winter season and increase to $500 a month in the busy summer season (aprox 9X20 to 10X23 size)
NOTE: As required by the city of Post Falls, there is an additional charge of $1.00 per day, per vendor for City Occupational License added to the both rent.
Rental payments are non-refundable. Please visit our website to reserve your booth space. If you are unable to do so, please let us know ahead of time so we can assist you with that to make sure you have a space reserved when you get here.
4) RESERVATIONS: All spaces must be reserved online before setting up. Rent spaces must be paid by the 1st of each month for permanent spaces. Reservations can be made online at www.postfallspublicmarket.
5) Vendors on renting a permanent space must man their space at all times or make arrangements with the Post Falls Public Market to have someone man it for them. There will be an additional fee for booths manned by Post Falls Public Market to help with costs of accounting and personnel on staff. Make sure you have appropriate change on hand for cash buyers and a way to accept card payments if you choose to man your own booth.
7) You will be assigned your area, but are responsible for bringing your own table, display items or shelving to fill your booth space area, we are not able to provide any tables etc We can provide power if you need it and access to WIFI.
Please make sure to change your inventory frequently. A minimum of twice a month to provide new displays for repeat customers. No "museum display booths". If we do not see a consistent new inventory or "look" in your booth, we make ask you to switch to a rotating booth to change up what we offer market goers. We will also have theme months or weeks and ask our vendors to participate if they are able. For example for specific holidays or types of sales. A list of what the themes will be are available on our website.
8) We also offer an area on our website to feature your booth space/ company name logo and items you are selling for an additional cost if interested. Please let us know
9) SUBLETTING: No vendor may sublet part of his or her space to another vendor nor transfer their space to another vendor when they leave the market without prior permission from Post Falls Public Market. If your booth space remains vacant two consecutive weeks in a row, it will be considered "abandoned" and will be re-rented.
10) TRASH: Each vendor should sweep his or her space to the aisle at the end of the day and must dispose of his/her own non "sweep-able" trash in the dumpster or garbage cans provided. A $5.00 fee per space will be charged to any vendor who does not dispose of his/her trash or keep the booth swept and clean. A $10.00 fee will also be charged to any vendor leaving trash, boxes, displays, etc. outside their door(s): plus, all said property will be disposed of.
11) You will be assigned your booth area, please make sure you keep all your items you are selling within your booth space, unless you have prior permission to place or hang elsewhere in the market.
12) Each vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Post Falls Public Market from any kind of loss, cost or expense or any sort of nature. Each vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Post Falls Public Market and its subsidiaries from any liability to any person on account of any damage to personal property resulting or occurring by reason of use and occupancy of space(s) by a vendor. Including any liability arising from the sales of goods or services, or for any failure of a vendor to comply in any respect with or to perform any of the requirements and provisions of these operating rules and regulations.
